Invictus Games Logo for Vancouver 2025

We’re so proud to share that Francesca recently returned from volunteering as part of the medical team at the Invictus Games Vancouver 2025, and what an incredible experience it was.

This wasn’t Francesca’s first time supporting the Invictus community. She even got to meet Prince Harry! Funnily enough, it wasn't the first time she'd had a chance to support the games. While in Toronto she was also part of the medical team at the Toronto Invictus Games in 2017, and when the opportunity came up to be involved again here in Vancouver, she didn’t hesitate.

The Invictus Games are truly something special. They bring together wounded, injured, and ill service members and veterans from around the world — not just to compete, but to connect, heal, and inspire. Being part of the care team supporting these athletes was an honour Francesca won’t soon forget. The stories, the strength, the resilience — it was a reminder of the power of sport, community, and recovery.

It was also exciting to see Vancouver take the global stage for such a meaningful event. Our city showed up in a big way, and we’re so glad the Games received the attention and heart they deserve.

As a clinic, we were proud to support all our physios when they need time away to contribute to events like this. Investing in events like this, and in the people who make them happen, is part of what we believe in.

Welcome back, Francesca — and thank you for representing Hollyburn so well.
