Faezeh graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia.
Faezeh has a special interest in hand and upper extremity injuries and is finalizing her designation as a Certified Hand Therapist.
During the past 6 years, Faezeh has developed her areas of expertise while working in private practice physiotherapy. She has completed post graduate training in Vestibular Rehabilitation, IMS dry needling, chronic pain and McKenzie Techniques (levels A, B and C). Faezeh has experience working with individuals of all ages and activity levels and has treatment expertise in acute sport injuries, post-surgical conditions, workplace injuries, postural syndromes and motor vehicle injuries.
Faezah has expertise working as a physiotherapist in a Pain Management team. Working in this program helped her to design and develop treatment plans that emphasize self-management of pain using a biopsychosocial interdisciplinary approach.
Her treatment philosophy is patient centered and focuses on education and empowerment. She uses a variety of techniques to allow individuals to self-manage their injuries and continue to participate in activities that are meaningful to them. During her studies, she spent seven years working as a support worker and teacher for children with special needs including Autism, Aspersers, learning disabilities and Down Syndrome.
Faezeh pursues an active lifestyle and lives with her husband and their two children on the North Shore.
